With more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Brent strives to build strong relationships with his clients by providing a balanced combination of education, strategic advice and timely, ongoing service. He leverages his ability to put complex financial jargon into laymen’s terms to ensure that clients understand his recommendations and feel confident about the decisions they make.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2020, Brent owned and operated an independent flood insurance agency before joining Morgan Stanley in 2010. From this experience, he gained valuable insight into the financial concerns and challenges of small business owners, as well as the substantial effort involved in building wealth. Previously, Brent worked as a senior representative at T. Rowe Price, where he provided advisory services to high-net-worth clients.

Brent has attained the Financial Planning Specialist (FPS) designation, and holds Series 7, 63, 66 and life, health and variable annuity insurance licenses. Over the years, he has attended numerous conferences to meet with, and learn from, some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Brent earned his B.A. in communications from the University of South Florida. Although not currently practicing, Brent holds his property and casualty insurance license and his Florida real estate license.

Brent and his wife, Erika, live in the Land O’ Lakes area with their twin sons. Brent enjoys coaching his sons’ baseball team and is actively involved in their events and activities. He also enjoys watching the local Tampa sports teams, playing golf and traveling. A lifelong Tampa resident, Brent believes in the value and necessity of our community’s great institutions. In addition to giving to his church and several local charitable organizations, he donates his time to Feeding America, the Humane Society and Lowry Park Zoo.
